World of bridges
I have always been fascinated by bridge structures, probably since I was a kid living close to the Ambassador Bridge in Windsor, across from Detroit. My dad would take me down to the river and I remember vividly watching the Great Lakes ships pass under the bridge while the hum of trucks and cars passed overhead. When I worked at the Boundary Layer Wind Tunnel in London, Ontario, I got to work on wind studies of some wonderful bridges like the Sunshine Skyway Bridge in Tampa among others. Now living in Ottawa, there are bridges everywhere, and I look forward to visiting them as often as I can. Enjoy! Featured bridges here:
-Laurier Bridge and Alexandra Bridge In Ottawa, Ontario
-Seaway International Bridge in Cornwall Ontario
-Tour Eiffel Bridge (Montcalm Street Bridge) in Gatineau, Quebec, (which contains a piece of the real Eiffel Tower in its span!)
-King Street Bridge in Waterloo, Ontario
More to come. Contact me at photowagon@gmail.com if you would any of these images for commercial purposes.
